By using our services, you agree to the policies and procedures set forth below.

Term

This agreement, between Piedmont Maids, LLC and you (customer), has no term. You may cancel your cleaning services at any time. Piedmont Maids, LLC also reserves the right to stop providing you cleaning services any time.

Quality of Cleaning

Quality cleaning and customer satisfaction are our priorities. To ensure quality cleaning on a consistent basis, we implement two levels of supervision: First, we require that each cleaning team leader ensures every aspect of your cleaning is performed to your satisfaction. Second, the general manager will either perform periodic checks when our cleaners are cleaning or hold meetings with each cleaning team leader to ensure we are providing you proper cleaning services.

Our Guarantee

We guarantee 100% satisfaction. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with any of our cleaning services, contact your local Piedmont Maids office within 24 hours of your cleaning and we will do our best to resolve any inconvenience you may have. Piedmont Maids, LLC only guarantees completed services that have been paid in full.

Employees

Piedmont Maids, LLC is bonded and insured.  Furthermore, before our employees are allowed to clean your home, they must be thoroughly trained in the use of cleaning supplies and equipment. We guarantee our employees will perform excellent housekeeping services.  We also guarantee our employees will not smoke, eat, or watch TV while they clean your home.

Keys/Security/Entry

Most customers provide us a key to their home. For security purposes, we do not identify keys by means of customers’ names or addresses. Instead, we assign codes to these keys and store them in a safe when not in use. Only the general manager has access to the safe and is responsible for issuing keys to each cleaning team leader. As a security measure, we have instructed our cleaners to lock all doors while they clean. Furthermore, our cleaners will not open the door to any estranger (including working men) while they are cleaning your home. We also accept garage codes to enter your home.

Payments

Payments are due at time of services. Piedmont Maids, LLC accepts cash and checks. All customers are required to leave a credit card on file to hold a cleaning. In the event that you forget to leave payment on your scheduled cleaning day, your credit card will be charged. Any prior balance must be cleared before your next service. A $25 fee will be imposed for any check returned by your bank. Upon your request, receipts will be provided to you.

Tipping

Gratuity is a way to demonstrate your appreciation for the work that our cleaners perform. Although tipping is not expected or required, our employees will welcome it!

What to do Before Our Cleaners Arrive

To offer productive services on a consistent basis, we ask our customers to pick up clothing, toys, and other household items before the arrival of our cleaners. Also, please secure cash, jewelry, and other small valuables.

Arrival Time

We strive to be punctual to our cleaning services.  However, different circumstances such as cancellations, illness, rescheduling, and traffic, may affect our arrival times.  In the event that our cleaners will be late to your cleaning service, we will let you know ahead of time.

Supplies and Equipment

We provide all cleaning supplies and equipment. In the event that you request your supplies or equipment, you agree not to hold Piedmont Maids, LLC or any of its personnel responsible for damage to any article or component.

Cancellation/Lockout Fee

To cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled cleaning. Cancellations made with less time of anticipation are subject to a $30 cancellation fee. A fee of $30 will be charged if you choose not to provide us keys to your home and we cannot gain access to it. We cannot guarantee that the cleaning team you are accustomed to will clean your home when you reschedule a cleaning.

Pets and Plants

Pets are not an inconvenience. We are happy to clean around them. As a security measure, however, our employees are instructed not to enter a house if they believe an animal is a threat. If your pet is aggressive, we ask that you secure them while our employees clean. For reference, we would like to know the names of your pets. Do to the individual and special care plants require, we are not able to maintain them.

Extra Requests

If you have extra requests (refrigerator cleaning, oven cleaning, inside window cleaning, etc.), let us know 24 hours in advance of your next scheduled cleaning. Extra charges will apply.

What We Do Not Clean

We do not clean any area containing body fluids, litter boxes, animal excretions and vomits, ants, termites, roaches, or flees. If we encounter any of these areas, we will clean around them and notify you. If you have any object that has a high sentimental or monetary value to you that you do not want us to clean, let us know. Likewise, if there is any area within your home that you do not want us to clean, please notify us. Our cleaners cannot perform the following activities:

  • Climb higher than a step stool to work on the outside of your home
  • Move furniture containing electronics
  • Move or clean antiques
  • Lift objects weighting more than 20 pounds*
  • Prepare meals
  • Empty diaper pails
  • Provide any pet or children-related services
  • Wash dishes*
  • Clean/wash carpets
  • Wax floors

*If you want us to clean under or behind an object weighting more than 20 pounds, you have to move the object prior to the arrival of our cleaners to your home. *Although we do not wash dishes, if your dishwasher is empty, we will gladly fill it with dirty dishes.

Severe Weather

In the event of severe weather, Piedmont Maids, LLC reserves the right to cancel your cleaning for that day. We, however, will notify you as early as possible and will try to reschedule your cleaning.

Holidays

We do not operate on New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day. We will contact our customers 4 weeks in advance to reschedule any cleanings that fall on these holidays.

All prices are subject to change at any time without notice. All promotions are subject to change and terminate at any time without notice.

To protect your information, we use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Technology.  All the information that you submit using the forms in our website, is encrypted prior to being sent over the internet to our system.  To verify you are using a secure browser, look for the padlock icon or the letters “https”.

Collected Information And Its Usages
